Rheumatoid Arthritis–Associated Interstitial Lung Disease: Risks, Recognition, and Collaborative Management Strategies

Learning objectives:

  • Identify key risk factors, clinical manifestations, and the overall disease burden of rheumatoid arthritis–associated interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD), with an emphasis on early recognition and appropriate screening strategies.

  • Apply evidence-based diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for RA-ILD, including the interpretation of imaging, pulmonary function tests, and the selection of appropriate treatment options.

  • Collaborate effectively with respirologists to design and implement comprehensive, interdisciplinary care plans that address the complex needs of patients living with RA-ILD.
